The Design Inspiration.....

I'm a final year Product Design Engineering student at the Glasgow School of Art. I love creating my own minimal illustrations inspired by music and culture in my spare time.

My design was inspired by the community aspect of the face coverings. Glasgow is city I've grown up in. Whenever I spend time in other cities it reminds me how strong a community feel Glasgow has - I always miss the kindness of strangers I've never experienced anywhere else. I would walk by the building with 'People Make Glasgow' on it on my way to the art school from the train, and the message has always been so true for me.

Our face coverings are made from Cotton Poplin, manufactured with a 3 layer fused recycled soft non-woven lining.

Designed and manufactured to comply with CWA 17753:2020.

They are washable, steam ironable and reusable, and lightweight (overall weight is 6 grams).

We recommend washing or steam ironing before first use and do not touch the inside when using.

They are designed with side tabs for handling. With soft elastic ear loops.

Please note, in the interest of hygiene we are unable to accept a return of any face covering unless faulty.

These are not medical grade. They should not be worn as personal protective equipment. You should follow official government guidance in addition to wearing a mask.

When applying or removing the covering, it is important that you wash your hands first and avoid touching your face. After each use, you must wash the face covering or dispose of safely.

Face coverings should not be used for children under the age of two years.

WASH THE NEW MASK OR STEAM WITH A HOT IRON BEFORE WEARING INCASE OF POSSIBLE CONTAMINATION.

Wash your hands as per government guidelines before touching the mask.

Do not touch the inside of the mask. Use the side tabs.

Pick up your mask by its ear loops.

Adjust the fit of the mask to ensure your nose and chin are covered.

Change if it gets moist from your breath.

Place in pillowcase or cloth bag for washing to protect the fabric.

Wash at 30-60 degrees, medium iron, do not tumble dry.

Discard if it becomes damaged in any way.
